Built By Someone Who Got Tired Of Bad Service
SkyCom PTT started the way a lot of good ideas do — with a bad customer experience. Our founder spent decades in ham radio and emergency management, including 14 years as a career radio communications technician holding an FCC General Radio Operator License. After retiring in 2024, he bought a pair of cellular push-to-talk radios from another company — and then waited two and a half hours on hold just to get help with them.
That call convinced him there had to be a better way. He tracked the manufacturers down directly, struck a deal, and SkyCom PTT was born — built on the idea that the people who sell you a radio should actually answer when you call.
